Business Description

Founded in 2003, Mah Boonkrong Dairy Goats Co., Ltd. Started importing Saanen breed goats from Australia and New Zealand to the farm in Thong Pha Poom District of Kanchanaburi Province. Placing emphasis on environmental protection, nutrition and personnel management, the farm is certified for Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) by the Department of Livestock Development under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. Stretching across some 2,000 rais (320 hectares), today this farm is the home of over 7,000 dairy goats and is the largest full-scale dairy goat farm in Thailand. The number of dairy goats at the farm is expected to increase to more than 10,000 by the end of year 2005.

The production process begins with milking the goats which is performed by an automated milking machine. This modern equipment extracts and delivers the milk hygienically. Then, the raw milk is stored in the sealed tanks maintained at optimal temperature, keeping out bacteria and assuring that the fresh milk reaches the pasteurizing plant in prime condition at Pathumthani Province.

Pasteurization of goat milk is also processed by another automated machine that keeps the goat milk free of bacteria throughout the production line until the bottling. All bottled goat milk is kept in a cool room prior to delivery.
