Located in the Arthur N. Bourne (ABB) building the McMaster University Glassblowing Shop has been in operation for over 54 years. The current scientific glassblower, Michael Palme, has been serving the McMaster University scientific community for the past 28 years. Glassblowing services are also available to the community outside of McMaster University. We welcome the opportunity to fulfill the glassware needs of both internal university and external clients. Please contact us for a quotation. Glassware such as condensers, dewars, traps, and vacuum lines, is produced to meet the specifications of the requesting party.We have the ability to construct custom scientific glassware up to 178mm in diameter from borosilicate glass and 70 mm in diameter for quartz glass.
