Here at Mercian we have been manufacturing and servicing external industrial and commercial doors since 1975 and during this time have expanded our Birmingham headquarters with regional hubs. These have enabled Mercian to provide national customers with countrywide reliable door supply and servicing back up. Mercian products are compliant with all current British Standards and Health and Safety Legislation. We offer a wide range of doors that move – horizontally, vertically or are hinged. All our products are custom built to suit your opening and application in a wide selection of materials to suit the door’s purpose: from keeping out the elements, reducing the risk of fire spreading, to contributing to overall security. We can supply and fit as part of an OE (Original Equipment) installation on a new build, whether your requirement is for one, ten or more doors, we can help. We can replace worn out doors with a like specification, or upgrade your door to give improved performance. Our Maintenance and Service Division is dedicated entirely to providing reactive and planned maintenance to all types of doors and closing equipment, locks, emergency exit hardware, manual and automatic doors, industrial doors, grilles and fire shutters. We offer a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service from a single point of contact and each job is handled by the same person from receipt of order to invoice. This is supported by our LPS 1197 – Requirements for companies undertaking the maintenance and repair of door and shutters.
