Mobile Appliance was established in April 2004 to pursue one of worldwide leading technology companies in the field of Car Navigation Systems. In 2004, thanks to our state-of-the-art and cost-effective technologies, we were awarded as ODM partner for the 3.5" PND (Personal Navigation Device) by Hyundai Autonet, and could achieve a great success for the 1st project under the name of "Pontus Easy", which accelerated the popularization of the PND in Korean domestic market. In 2005, with the confidence in our ODM project experiences and world-class technologies, we decided to input our resources in penetrating into the overseas markets and set up Sales Office in Frankfurt, Germany. Going through the tough competition against global competitors, our real values were recognized by world-leading companies, and we eventually entered "Development & Supply Contracts" for the PNDs with two major Tier-1 Automotive Suppliers in Europe.
