The recent launch of the mobility aids guide website, which is a niche market website offers retailers and suppliers of mobility and disability aids, equipment and products, such as wheelchairs, mobility scooters, bathing aids, daily living aids such as kitchen utensils, right through to furniture, beds, even exercise equipment for disabled people the list is vast! The opportunity to reach a wider and more targeted internet user through this ever growing media we call the World Wide Web. There is an increasing number of today�s generation of surfers who are indeed 55 years young and over. With this in mind, the obvious need for a one stop shop (so to speak) became apparent. Armed with the knowledge that we as a nation are living longer than ever before, the market place for such products is now becoming a growth industry, with a growing demand for mobility scooters, four-wheeled shopping trolleys, even walking sticks are becoming more fashionable, the availability of where to find locally, these kind of products is becoming a need for many more surfers. However there is also a growing need for more specialised equipment, such as custom made wheelchairs for disabled children along with many other items required to give a growing child the home comforts they deserve. There is also a growing demand for specially adapted vehicles to suit the needs of people who, although they are wheelchair bound would still like to have the ability and independence to drive their own car.
