Business Description

Thank you for your interest in Olympus Flower Solar Stoves. We are based in Southbroom, on the Kwazulu Natal South Coast, Close to Margate. Please see *****. Email ***** Please feel free to call me SHARON 073 780 3939. Welcome to the free energy of the Sun. With solar cooAking you use the cleanest, most environmentally friendly energy source. Sunbeams are bundled and directed towards the pot by the parabolic reflector. The sunbeams are converted to heat on the surface of a dark pot, and they can heat the pot to 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit). On a hot sunny day a litre of water boils in under 10 minutes. This makes the solar cooker also suitable for baking as in an oven and for boiling and deep frying. The reflector has the shape of a paraboloid to concentrate the Sun’s energy efficiently. The deep curvature ensures that adjustment towards the Sun is required only every 20 minutes and that the hot pot is in a safe position . Developing countries experience a firewood deficit of one billion cubic metres worldwide each year. The firewood crisis has grown in recent times to affect more than two billion people, which is a third of the Earth's population. More than 200 million solar cookers are required to stop the firewood crisis. Since solar cookers save the emission of carbon dioxide in regions that are affected by the firewood crisis, there are wonderful opportunities to make solar cooking accessible even to the poorest of the poor by international projects for reducing greenhouse gasses. The Olympus Flower Solar Stoves These Solar stoves are manufactured in three sizes: 1m parabola (1kW), 1, 2m parabola (1.2kW) and 1, 8m parabola (2kW). The 1m and 1, 2m parabola stoves are recommended for one pot cooking. The 1, 8m parabola is manufactured to accommodate more than 1 pot. This is due to the amount of shadow that the pot casts onto the parabolic mirror. NOTE: The 1, 8m parabola is mounted on a swivel stand that is concreted in the ground, due to its size. The stands are all manufactured from galvanised steel tube. The parabola is manufactured from polished ionised aluminium sheet. all nuts and bolts on frame are galvanised, all nuts and bolts on parabola are stainless steel. All has been done to make this product durable in any climate and to last the user a lifetime. The 1m (14kg) and 1, 2m (18kg) stoves are available in easy to assemble kits, and can be posted to your address. Prices 1m - R2 000.00 1.2m - R2 500.00 1.8m - R6 000.00 All prices include postage.
