In 1997 the MD of Oromed UK Ltd, who is an experienced designer and development engineer, suffering himself from back problems was determined to design a bed which would maintain the backbone and therefore the whole body in an unstressed position during sleep. He set out on this task by evaluating all the beds then on the market and discussing the issues with key clinicians, university professors, Physiotherapists, tissue viability therapists and healthcare carers, with the end result being the creation of the Oro sleep System. He was able to apply for patents which were granted world wide. At the 31st International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva (April 2003) Ljubomir Gnjatovic was awarded a Gold Medal for the Design and Innovation of the Oro sleep System. Since the launch of the system on the UK market, Oromed has been changing The quality of their customers lives and in the Healthcare Sector in particular, it has been provided relief and a cure in some of the most Difficult cases. The Mission Oromeds main objective is to provide the public at large, patients, the elderly and the disabled, with the most sophisticated sleep system. As already stated, the Oro Sleep System with its unique features is the only Fourth Generation of Automatically Adjustable Beds in the world. Our company policy is one of continuous consultations with key clinicians, which enabled Us to take on board all their comments, observations and criticisms about The lack of sophistication and features of the existing systems currently being used. All this, plus our policy of continuous fine tuning and Improving our existing range of products enabled us to design new unique features for soon to be launched Oro Fifth Generation of Automated Beds.
