Our History

Proma Industries Limited was incorporated in 1991 as a Textile Trading house with the vision to provide sound Consultancy Services for Spinning Units of Synthetic Yarn. Subsequently, Proma grew organically and forayed into manufacturing of Chenille Yarn and Polyester Draw Textured Yarn. The success of these units propelled Proma to grow further and expand the Group's presence into other industries.

The Group, via Sonpankhi Shares and Securities, became a member of BSE and MCX to further its presence in the Financial space and to provide customized investment advisory to HNIs.

Today, Proma Group has a total Turnover in excess of Rs.150 crores and has presence in Textiles, Retail, Financial Services and Real Estate.

To do that, we understand that the change has to come from our side. That is why, by adopting a pure e-commerce model we are able to transfer the saving associated with a light physical retail model to the consumer. This translates into a saving of nearly 40% as compared to other brands.

Our Philosophy

We love shirts. Always have, and we've tried shirts of all brands and fittings. But what we found over time is that in search of higher margins and greater reach, shirtmakers compromised on one thing that they should'nt have - on quality. The price associated with quality is too steep. We are here to bridge that gap.

We are backed by the Mumbai based conglomerate, Proma Industries. Proma is a leader in home furnishing textiles and cotton trading. We've worked with cotton for the past 2 decades at the manufacturing level.
