Cau Chocolate International is a proudly Balinese-owned organic chocolate company, founded with a mission to empower local farmers and bring the rich heritage of Bali to the global stage. Established in Cau Village, Tabanan, the company was born from the vision of Dr. Alit Artha Wiguna, a lecturer and researcher at Udayana University, who sought to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers through sustainable, organic practices.

With strong community roots and a commitment to fair trade, Cau Chocolate collaborates with farmer cooperatives such as KSS Jembrana and the Kalimajari Foundation, supporting over 600 farmers managing 6,000 hectares of organic cacao farmland. Through education, training, and direct purchasing at fair prices, the company ensures that farmers benefit directly from their hard work.

Cau Chocolate has successfully obtained organic certifications from Indonesia, Europe, and the USA, as well as halal certification from MUI, making its products trusted worldwide. Since 2017, under the leadership of Kadek Surya Prasetya, the company has expanded internationally, exporting to Malaysia, Japan, New Zealand, and the USA, while also being widely available across Bali in duty-free shops, airports, supermarkets, and souvenir outlets.

The company offers more than 200 chocolate products, ranging from premium cacao beans, dark chocolates, organic drinking chocolate, couverture, vegan series, and cacao nibs, to innovative creations like chocolate spa experiences and agro-tourism activities. Its Agro Division in Tabanan provides visitors with immersive experiences such as organic chocolate gardens, rice field trekking, chocolate factory tours, and cultural activities, blending agriculture, education, and tourism.
