PT. Gunung Putri Graha Mas, a private company, was founded in 1982. In the beginning, its field of competence was the production of building materials. Since 1992 it has developed its core business into a fibreglass and solid surfacing material industry. We specialize in customized products and mass production products. We are also the first fiberglass company in Indonesia to obtain ISO 9001 certification which shows that we take the qualities of our products seriously. In 1996, by keeping in touch with market information employing U.S.-technology, and conducting a variety of innovations, we have gracefully stepped into global market. Since then, we have a solid growth pace in the fiberglass market by obtaining orders locally and we also regularly export both our customized products and mass production products to foreign countries. The customized products include: 1. The tanks that we manufacture for INCO Goro Nickel 2. The biggest tank in the world which we made in Dumai (which is featured in Reinforced Plastics 50 year-Anniversary edition), Our mass production products include: 1. Our export to GE USA, and GE Mexico 2. Export to many Japanese companies 3. Water treatment products for VEOLIA water which are distributed to Italy, South Korea, Thailand, and all over the world In 2005 we manufacture world s largest FRP chemical tank in Dumai. This outstanding achievement got us awarded by Indonesia s Museum of Record (MURI) and a special mention award in Paris.
