Curitel developed the super-light analog mobile phone in 1993 before it became the first company in the world to develop CDMA L phones. In 1997, it developedz 1.9 ghz frequency band CDMA pcs ( personal communications service). Two years later, curitel took the world by surprise as it markeked in the korean market the world first clamshell-type pcs handset powered by the msm3000 chip with an embedded internet web browser. In 2001, it developed cdma2000 1x handsets before completing the development of the internationally certified (europe gcf) GSM phone in 2002.

This year, curitel stunned the domestic and international markets with its cdma2000 1x evdo phones, GPS phone, and research activities to perfect next generation cell phones including smart phones to perfect next generation cell phones including smart phones, blue tooth phones, and imt-2000 to emerge as a market leader.
