Providence International

Providence International is a Christian company, aimed at helping and educating the unemployed to gain some valuable craft-making skills-which in turn, can benefit them financially. Providence International supplies the basic materials required for making the crafts. When the finished products pass the quality inspection, Providence International purchase the goods from the craft-makers and sell the products internationally. The company started up as a small home industry in Semarang, Indonesia with only a few "crafters" to begin with. The Indonesian archipelago consists of many different ethnic groups which are so rich in culture and traditions. Each ethnic group usually has a very unique handicraft tradition which has been passed on from the older to the younger generations for thousands of years. One good example being the Batik painting, which is one of the most famous handmade craft from Indonesia still loved by people around the world today. Providence International hopes for more than just educating people with the art of crafts-making, but also wishes to preserve these handicraft traditions for future generations as well as promoting these beautiful crafts to the world. As people continue to trust in our high quality craftsmanship over the years, our orders grow in numbers so does our business. Providence also provides opportunities for business partnership with people around the world who shares our core values and goals. We love the wonderful and vast world of handicrafts and enjoy teaching (and also learning about) traditional handmade crafts from around the world. We love being a "young" and "hip" company that is always buzzing with creativity and new ideas. If you would like to become our business partner or if you like more information about who we are, please do not hesitate to contact us.
