Rand York Minerals (Pty) Ltd exclusively processes and markets foundry chromite sand for the Glencore Xstrata Group, sourced from various suppliers in Southern Africa. All material is mined in the heart of the Bush veld Complex, the principal chromite deposit in South Africa.

Our beneficiation plant represents the latest in spiral and heavy medium technology, producing quality foundry chromite sand. All material is washed and processed under ISO9000/2 standards or the equivalent of these standards. Rand York Minerals supplies Foundry, Chemical and Metallurgical grade Chrome ore, packed either as dried and bagged, or wet bulk.
