Dr. Raymond Nchor is the founder of both IMC and SORUDA, which have representations in Germany, Ghana and the USA. IMC here stands for International Maintenance Consulting and SORUDA stands for the Society for the Promotion of Rural Development in Africa. These visionary ideas resulted from lectures Dr. Nchor delivered in various universities and research centres in Germany over two decades on Technology Transfer and the Maintenance of Engineering Systems in Developing Countries. In order to mobilise financial resources to promote international development, he saw diversification in the supply of raw materials and equipment as an important sector to invest his engagements. He has mobilised cooperation partners in this sector over the last two years, particularly with manufacturers, suppliers and brokers / agents. This has made him to acquire wide experience in the price regime for steel, cement and other strategic equipment and products in the global market. He mainly plays an intermediary role in this business, serving the mutual interests of the manufacturer / supplier and the buyer. Due to his engagement in this sector, he receives daily, contacts from both buyers, as well as manufacturers, or their mandated suppliers. He sees himself in this interesting, but tiring business as a catalyst, who brings a dynamic effect into the business transaction between the manufacturer and the buyer.
