Segue Hwasung Co., Ltd.

We started out under the name of Segue Hwasung in April 1990. Six years later, we changed into Segue Hwasung Co., Ltd. with a capital of 1.1 billion won. We have since been manufacturing forms and PADs for automakers, as we started to partner with Kia Motors and Daewoo Motor to manufacture auto-related PADs.   Also, we have earned various patent rights such as the designing of buffering material-making systems (patent no. of 4293). We have also earned patents on sound-absorbing materials for apartments constructed by SK E&C and Daewoo E&C. We have thus proved our technologies to be outstanding, and have been partnering with such construction companies.  Afterwards, as we underwent Korea's financial crisis in 1997-1998, as part of restructuring efforts, we transferred sound-absorbing material business to a third party, and instead, took over an injection molding plant. We thus established Segue Chemical Co., Ltd., and started to manufacture and supply PADs, injection molding products, and finished sun-shading products to Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, and Daewoo Motor. We specialize in manufacturing auto parts.   Also, as in December 2002, we merged Segue Hawsung Co., Ltd. and Segue Chemical, we started to manufacture and assemble injection molding products in addition to PADs. We have thus come at the forefront in logistics as well ahead of others. In March 2003, we developed and started to sell and export car tents dubbed as carpension, the first of its kind in Korea. The development of the car tent made us undergo a successful restructuring. As such, we have become a solid specialist in manufacturing auto parts, thus contributing to the development of the auto industry.
