Selva Fruit Company

Most banana suppliers operate at a larger scale with clear annual turnover and verified contact details, making them more trustworthy for long-term buyers. This supplier, active since 2013 and based in Panama, handles farming through to packing, which gives full control over quality and traceability from harvest to shipment. Their core products include fresh and frozen Cavendish and cooking bananas — a popular mix for both local consumption and export. Targeting only Panama as a market suggests a focused, regional strategy, possibly due to limited export infrastructure elsewhere. The lack of verified phone, work email, and documents raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness — buyers should request additional proof before placing orders. With annual turnover below $1, the business may be small or new, which could mean limited capacity or inconsistent supply. Operating in Panama, the origin country, means they are close to the end market, reducing shipping time and costs for buyers in nearby regions.
