The original company of SGCS was founded in 1984. It was changed to Zhangjiagang Shenghui Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd (ZSHCM) in 2001, it formed a joint venture named Shenghui Gas Chemical Systems (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd (SGCS) with I.M. Skaugen ASA in April, 2006.   At the moment, SGCS is divided into four divisions. The first division is for non-standard pressure vessel, the second division is the ship dock part, the third division is for spherical tank plates forming, and the fourth division is for cryogenic storage tank.
