Landwind Medical was established in 1994 as a major distributor of international brands of premium medical diagnostic imaging equipment in China. Our role in the value-adding distribution of third-party systems also entails customising the software that goes into them. Backed by our experience of catering for the diverse needs of over 6,000 healthcare establishments in China, we now also design and manufacture our own proprietary hardware for the international market. The Company commenced production of its own black and white ultrasound equipment on an Original Design Manufacture (ODM) basis for a leading Japanese company in 2004. Our successful entry into the highly competitive market in Japan provided great impetus to our design and manufacturing operations, which have grown from strength to strength since. Landwind Medical's expanding product portfolio is anchored by its NeuCrystalâ?¢ series - a range of ultrasound diagnostic scanners comprising both portable and trolley units to meet the healthcare industry's wide spectrum of requirements. In July 2005, we established Landwind International Medical Science in Singapore, to widen the overseas customer base for our equipment. The Company's quality products, which include workstations and networking systems, have also made their way to South East Asia, South Asia, Northern and Southern Africa, Latin America and Central Europe.
