Siam Sempermed Corporation

Siam Sempermed Corporation Limited (SSC), is a joint venture between STA and Semperit Technicsche Produkte Gesellschaft m.b.H., a company listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. It was established in 1989 and is currently Thailand’s largest, and the world’s fourth-largest, producer of examination gloves. SSC presently has four production facilities, three of which, whose area totals over 400 rai (64 hectares), are located in Songkhla while another one, with an area of over 180 rai (29 hectares), is located in Surat Thani. SSC obtains its supplies of concentrated latex, which is the chief raw material for the production of examination gloves, from Sri Trang Group companies. This affords SSC a competitive advantage in terms of procurement and enables SSC to satisfy the demand of customers at all times. Through its extensive distribution network, the products of SSC are marketed in the USA, Europe, China, Singapore and Brazil.
