Solesta solar systems was founded by Jeroen Noij and Jacob van Berkel in 2006. Having worked as developers and researchers in the Dutch solar thermal energy sector, both founders have built up extensive experience in the field. Their knowledge and experience was used to develop and build the Solesta innovative solar powered boiler. Their starting points were: lightweight, compact, easy to install, reliable and last but not least cost-effective.For many years already Solesta solar systems successfully produces and sells a unique, and easy to install/maintenance free solar boiler system that fits in every kind of home. The 100 litre thermal storage tank made of plastics weights16 kg only and can easily be installed! As the Solesta solar boiler is cheaper than the competition, with a comparable output, Solestas pay back period is the lowest in the market!By now, Solesta employs 16 full-time members of staff as well as a number of part-timers and a team of assembly and distribution employees. Our ambition is to grow, not only in size but also in terms of our product range. Solestas market is not limited to The Netherlands. In fact, many of the opportunities lie abroad. In 2011 and 2012, the company signed deals with strategic partners and distributers in the United Kingdom, France and Belgium. Solesta wants to further extend its presence in foreign markets. Therefore Solesta is looking for partners, agents or distributors in different countries
