Standard Ceramic Industries Ltd., a public limited company with an authorized capital of Tk. 100 million was thus floated. The factory was designed by famous ceramist Mr. Kyoki Yamazaki of Sone Ceramic, Japan (Later a JODC expert). The operating machinery was mainly procured from famous producer of Japan. The factory went into commercial production on September 1st. 1993.Through the active and dedicated participation of all SCI personnel, the factory is now turning out approximately 43,000 assorted pieces (10.5 M.Tons) of tableware per day. Product Details Light Weight Stone Tableware (Hard Glaze Vitrified). Raw materials are mainly European. High temperature glaze; 3 times firing (decals-on glaze). Dishwasher, oven, detergent, microwave friendly. Items Produced Dinner, Tea & Coffee sets including all accessories.
