"SURAJ CROPSCIENCES LIMITED" was incorporated on January 21, 2010 under the Companies Act, 1956 vide certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat. Subsequently converted into a public company and consequently the name was changed to "SURAJ CROPSCIENCES LIMITED"(SCL) vide certificate of incorporation dated February 24, 2015 issued by the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat.

SCL is “Research & Development” based “Seed Company". Seed is most crucial Agri Input and determines the performance of other input. It has emerged as most important tool to increase the farmer's income due to its multi facet linkage. We are engaged in the business of developing, producing, processing, grading and supplying of all kind of agricultural & vegetable seeds. We actively use “Bio-Technology” as an important tool in our R & D. Our R&D is recognized by Government of India in 2014 through DSIR (Department of Scientific & Industrial Research) a part of M.S.T. ( Page No 180 and Serial No 1718 )

MILESTONES / ACHIEVEMENTS

May 2013, SCL received certificate for ISO 9001-2008 for implementation and conformance to the International Quality Management System.

October 2014, Research and Development activities of SCL approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India, New Delhi.

November 2014, Institutional Bio-safety Committee (IBSC) of SCL approved by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

SCL is having its huge infrastructure to cater the company T.O. up to 200 cr.

SCL is producing and selling more than 180 Products of Seeds in various Indian markets.

SCL has license to work and operate across 14 states. As per our knowledge we are a only company based at Gujarat to have licenses to operate in so many states.

Empanelled with NAFED (National Agricultural cooperative marketing federation of India Limited) is one of the Central Seed Agencies of Department of agriculture & farmer Welfare, Govt. of India. For all India sales through them in January, 2021

Started Seeds supplies to State Governments i.e. Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh Orissa, Mizoram Tripura & Assam states.

Enhanced the Network in South i.e. Karnataka State.
