The company was founded in 1979 under the name of Hollandse Machine Fabriek bv.At this moment the 3e and 4e generation with the family name "van der Zwaan" are in business.Grand-father has started production of agriculture machinery in the year 1939, in the year 1979 has the 3e generation, John made a switch to industrial machinery.In the year 2005 we start R&D for our own water filtration program, now we have a complete filtration program to make drinking and showering water bacteria free.Every single filter has been tested before delevery, so we can qaranty a safe product !!Also our housings are from a high quality, in ABS chroom, Brass chroom and stainless steel.We can fit or connect on 1", 3/4", 1/2" in standard or on request we make specials.The brand name of our products is Swan Filter Systems.Swan is translated from our dutch family name Zwaan.NEW PRODUCT for non-profit and AID-ORGANIZATIONS.We made also the Swan Safe Water Unit, this is a unit where you can put very dirty water in from a river or lake and in four filtration stages with a handpump you make bacteria free and safe water. A child can do it !!For using on every place on earth where people need clean water.We still go on with building new systems and models, next model will working on solar energy and have backflushing to give the filter system a longer life.All the filter products are made for small water systems, houses, company's, hotels, hospitals, etc.etc.
