T V Super Filter Industries

The Company was incorporated in the year 1994 as a small scale industry under the name & style of T.V.Super Filter Industires to manufacture Oil, Air & fuel filters for automotive & industrial applications. And our immediate challenges were to : a) Carve out a place in the highly competitive market. b) Build our brand and obtain acceptance of the Product, in the fiercely competitive market The perseverance and never-say-die spirit of our team ultimately, started showing results and, despite many difficulties, our Product (filters), started getting accepted. Building Blocks: The building blocks, on which the entire strategy of “TVSF” had been focused, were: a) Quality was never to be compromised. b) Customers’ satisfaction was to be our prime objective. c) Constant endeavor to achieve continuous improvement. Pursuit of excellence: a) An un-wavering pursuit of all-around excellence and a consistent approach to the systems and procedures resulted in an unique organisational culture in Jammu area. b) The entire team’s commitment to be a benchmarking unit in the area. The pursuit of the above-mentioned goals led us to achieve the following mile-stones of excellence: a) We were the 1st small scale unit to be certified for ISO – 9001, in 1999. b) ) Again we were the 1st company, in our state, to win 1st national award for entrepreneurship, in the year 2001. c) ISO – TS 16949-2002 version, was considered as the highest technical –certification for any unit. We are the only unit to have got this certification, in our state. d) One of our prestigious customer, Valvoline Cummins Ltd., recognized and honoured us, by declaring us as “excellent supplier for outstanding performance”. In a very impressive function, at Pune, we were awarded a certificate as well as a trophy, by this customer. e) We were honoured and recognized, at the national level, yet again, when we won the most prestigious “Rajiv Gandhi National Qual award”. This was handed over to us in a glittering ceremony, at the Taj, Delhi, on Apr 10th, 2008. This is our countrys’ highest honour ,related to the industry. f) We felt extremely humbled when we won the commendation letter for our “commitment to excel”, in CII – Exim bank business excellence award competition, on Nov 6th, 2008, during CII quality summit, at Bangalore. g) Our Quality Circle ‘Sahayog’ has won the consolation award (trophy) in the 22nd Quality Circle Competition, held at Chandigarh, on 11 Sep 2009. h) On Aug 28, 2009, our company won yet another national honour when the award for “Outstanding Entrepreneurship” for the year 2008, was bestowed on us. This award was handed over to us, at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi, in a function, the chief guest of which was our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh. i) Our unit has been rated as an ‘Ideal Industrial Enterprise’ by state government, on republic day (26th Jan. 2010) & earned the yearly state award of ‘Exemplary Industrial Entrepreneurship
