The manson group was established in 1969 as a general commercial printer.Right from day one, we took care of a number of periodical publications, but these formed a relatively small proportion of our turnover.Steady growth continued through the 1970s and 80s and our concentration gradually shifted over to multiple page section work.In 1998, we moved to our present factory where we employ approximately 100 people to look after in the region of 150 titles. We were one of the first to forge ahead with computer-to-plate technology and this focus on innovation continues.Our latest developments centre on communication technology via jdf and reel-to-sheet manufacturing but we continue to place customer satisfaction at the heart of our business as exemplified by our recent achievement of the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard.Our ongoing investment programme is designed to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our industry and in turn provide our customers with the highest levels of value. In particular, we believe our latest investment in a 10 colour perfector with cutstar makes us the first sheet fed magazine print factory in the UK to offer 100% text production from reels.
