Business Description

Not just another smelly soap... The Botanical Soap Shop is a forward thinking environmentaly friendly company based on Mayne Island, British Columbia, Canada. We are determined to raise the quality levels and imagination limits of the vast and often ho hum borning World of faceless soap bar companies. All of our products contain traditionally treasured skin healing botanicals grown by us in our chemical free gardens or grown wild in the beautiful lush British Columbia mountain sides. When 'natural' products just aren't good enough for your customers, take the next step and try our products. Our soaps use on average 90% certified organic ingredients, but as some of the botanicals and essential oils are sourced locally or from non-certified suppliers, we are not 100% organic. What you will not find are the widely used GMO soybean, cottonseed or canola oils found in competitors 'natural' soaps. The main premise to the Botanical Soap Shop products is to infuse the powerful healing qualities of REAL plants and herbs to have an end product whose skin benefits totally obliterate the competitions products. One of our most popular products, our 'Wickedly Wild' shampoo bar is one of the few non-liquid shampoos in the marketplace. 's performance as a shampoo is highly regarded by our customers, but it is also noted for being airline security friendly - so it is very popular with travellers.

Business Overview

Avg Response Time

≤ 1h

The Botanical Soap Shop has been in business since 2007, showing a long-standing presence in the organic chemicals and soap market. Being based in Canada, a country known for strong environmental and natural product standards, adds credibility to their organic claims. However, none of their key verification points — phone, work email, or business documents — are confirmed, which raises red flags for buyers looking for reliable contact and legitimacy. Without verified credentials, it's hard to trust that the company can deliver on product quality or respond to urgent inquiries. Buyers should request additional proof before placing any large orders or sharing sensitive requirements. This lack of verification is common among small or new businesses, but it's a significant risk when dealing with international trade.
