The Haitian Group Inc through its subsidiary in Haiti , the Haitian Foundation, has organized a federation of sea salt producers in order to control the exploitation and exportation of sea salt from Haiti. The company hopes to be able to create up to 10,000 jobs in the impoverished nation. We also hope to help in decentralizing the capital and other main cities by attracting workers in the production areas throughout the country. Some of the profits generated will be used to sponsor social activities such as education, medical care, shelter, children sports and cultural activities.
