Tianjin Tianduan Press Co., Ltd. formerly named as Tianjin Metal Forming Machine Tool General Works, is the earliest enterprise that design and produce hydraulic press in China. It is a large scale key enterprise in the Ministry of Machine Building. In 1956, the first hydraulic press was designed and manufactured in our country, which created the production history of hydraulic press. At present, the company has 42 series, more than 400 varieties ranging from 80 KN to 100,000 KN; the annual production capacity is 1200 sets of kinds of hydraulic presses. The products are widely used in the fields as auto producing, powder metallurgy, metal extrusion, electrical household appliances of light industry, chemical machinery, aviation and die manufacturing. And they have been appointed to substitute the imported ones. The products are exported to more than 40 countries and regions, such as Japan, the United States, Middle East and Asia etc. Depending on the technical advantages of National Hydraulic Press Research Institute and Hydraulic Press Technology Committee, Branch of National Forging Machine Standardization Technology Committee in our company, we take the lead in adapting advanced technologies as proportional control, position numerical control technology, synchro-control technology, touch screen technology, industrial computer control technology and remote control technology. And we make use of technologies of 3-D design and module design by means of software CAD/CAPP/CAM. Our company was approved as National CAD Applied Project Demonstration Enterprise in 2001. The large-scale high speed, high efficiency and high precision numerical control hydraulic press won The National Technical Innovation Prize in the ninth “Five Years Plan”. In 2002, the largest scale ten thousand tons numerical press was developed based on the study of 100MN numerical isothermal hydraulic press.
