TINTABLE SMART MATERIAL Co., Ltd was founded by Anderson Hsu (Ã¥¾Ã¥Ã¦¿) and Dr. Yi-Wen-Chung (é¾Ã¥Ã¦) in 2011. The company mainly focuses on developing and manufacturing the electrochromic devices.The companyâs R&D center began operating from the April of 2012, and its phase one target is to develop the flexible tint-able filters. With the strong team work for almost one year, the company finally successfully created the electrochromic filters on the May of 2013, which can be used as lens, suitably integrated with ski goggles, safety eyewears, sunglasses, and helmet visor inserts.The unique characteristic of the electrochromic filters includes âlow driving voltageâ, âlow power consumptionâ, and âkeeping transmittance in tinted statusâ. It is a dynamic control function that users are able to control the light on their own demand. Also, the filters provide the high efficiency of absorption for blocking UV and IR.
