The U-Pack Group started as a single Company in 1985, to manufacture its own unique design of a die-press known as the Shear-line, since then over 1500 Shear-lines have been sold into 43 countries. U-Pack believes strongly in Research and Development and has a constant programme to improve the production capabilities and profitability of our customers processes.Since 1985 U-Pack has developed 100s of machines and systems for a variety of industries, however our main development activities have been aimed principally at the packaging industry. After the Shear-line came the fully automatic die-cutters, starting with the Tracer in 1989 and the T-Series in 1992, then the Frontier in 1997.
