Established in 1965 United Carpets Limited is the largest carpet manufacturing exporter in Pakistan. Completing 45 years on 31st December 2010 United Carpets was established with the know-how of Homphrey of Halifax. United Carpets produces a variety of products with 12 feet wide Spool Axminster Looms, 27inches wide Narrow Looms, Shuttle less Beligique van der Wiele Wilton broad looms face-to-face 4 meter width. The company was also the first in Pakistan to be granted the wool mark license by International Wool secretariat (IWA) based in the United Kingdom. United Carpets has its own scouring, spinning, dyeing, finishing etc. facilities From raw wool to the finished carpet, the entire process is done in-house. United Carpets Limited is one of the very few carpet manufacturers who can claim from fleece to floor. United Carpets is the only manufacturer to scour raw wool, spin its own yarn and manufacture Axminster carpets for commercial as well as for the domestic buyers.United Carpets has an annual capacity of producing 1 million square meters of Axminster Carpet and 600, 000 square meters of Wilton carpet.
