Valcolatte S.p.A. - Consorzio Piacenza Alimentare

Valcolatte is an Italian Manufacturer of fresh cheeses located in Pontenure (in the northern part of Italy), on an area of about 112,000 square meters. We collect only milk from local breeders, thus providing a full traceability of our raw materials. We use 1,100,000 litres of milk per day (600,000 in Italy where main plant is located and 500,000 in Hungary where there is another productive unit) for the production of: fiordilatte mozzarella, burrata ricotta, and smoked scamorza. Production site in Italy spread over an area of 26,000 square meters an our staff counts on 600 employees (350 in Italy). We have an internal laboratory to check all products and we are BRC, IFS and HALAL certified.
