Business Description
A FAMILY HISTORY We are a genuine Dutch family business. In the 1960s, our founder, Jan van Drie senior, started rearing a few calves that dairy farmers were unable to use to replace their own dairy herd. It turned out to be a good strategic choice: Jan’s activities developed into the VanDrie Group. The company is still fully owned by the Van Drie family. The VanDrie Group now owns companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Germany. The VanDrie Group is characterised by chain integration: the company has control over all the links in production. We are producers of veal and beef, calf feed, dairy raw materials and calfskins. Our family business is driven by values of commitment, innovation and quality. We are practical and levelheaded and take responsibility for our impact on humans, animals and the climate.
