Business Description
Founded in June 1992, WIEC is a state-owned foreign trade company approved by MOFTEC. Since its establishment, the business has been growing rapidly and the company has been listed among the top 500 import and export enterprises in China for 8 consecutive years. It has established cooperative relationship with customers in more than 100 countries and regions. Our main export items contain: sunglasses, optical frames, lighters, clothes, footwear & headwear, pet products, stationery, mechanical and electrical products, auto parts and other light industrial products ( including razors, cosmetics). In September 2000, the corporation was partly reformed and formed a joint-stock subsidiary company, namely Wenzhou Imp. & Exp. United Co., Ltd. The subsidiary was put into operation in September 2001. In 2004, the total import and export volume of the parent company together with the subsidiary amounted to USD 136 million, including the export volume of USD 83 million, the import volume of USD 53 million. The corporation is facing new challenges and opportunities after China’s entry into WTO.
