Waveborn

Waveborn is a sunglasses company that combines the cool of fashion with the shoul of giving. For each pair of sunglasses sold, Waveborn donates a new pair of prescription eyeglasses to someone that needs them or partially fund sight-restoring surgery in the developing world through our charity partners Unite for Sight and Surgical Eye Expeditions International. From its humble origins as a side hustle in the summer of 2011, Waveborn has since become a community of over 50 people working to spread the movement and give the gift of sight. Waveborns are already sold in six retail stores and are the official sunglasses of Major League Ultimate Frisbee. In June, the company raised over $20,000 on Indegogo- a staggering 207% of the original campaign goal. Waveborn has been well received in the press with positive reviews from The Washington Post, Thrillist.com and the Matador Network. Waveborn sunglasses are handcrafted in Milan, Italy, delivering a high-quality product that looks great on both men and women. We currently offer nine models in over 25 colors. All shades come with a custom microfiber pouch to prevent scratches and frame damage. With styles for work events, sporting events, a day at the beach, or your daily commute, Waveborn shades will suit any occasion.
