Founded in 1994 in Xiangtan as a supplier of machinery, industrial parts and service, Xiangtan Electric Locomotive Factory Co., Ltd. has evolved to become a well known manufacturer under the trademark SHAOLI of machinery and service for, tunneling, mining and related industries. We are now one of the top manufacturers of narrow gauge electric locomotives in China. In the year of 2011, we have produced nearly one thousand sets of locomotives. On the other hand, we are the only company in this field which have own department to produce the matching electric motors and batteries. At present, there are locomotives in operation ranging in size from 1.5 to 30 tons which are at work in over 20 countries.
