The soy sauce manufacturing skills of the forward-looking Tangsombatvisit family have been passed on from generation to generation since the founding of Yan Wal Yun Co., Ltd. in 1947.   With the far-sighted vision of Mr. Vichien, who recognized the increasing demand for our products in both local and overseas markets, the construction of a fully-equipped modern factory was authorized in 1980.  In 1982, in order to operate more efficiently on a large industrial scale, Yan Wal Yun's entire organization was reorganized through the introduction of a professional management system, innovative marketing strategies and advanced production technology.  In 1997, Yan Wal Yun's second plant was constructed, together with its new R&D facilities and laboratory.  This plant utilizes the most advanced production technology from Japan, enabling the company to become one of the most advanced soy sauce manufacturers in Asia.  In addition, in order to become a fully integrated seasoning and food product manufacturer, the company established a newly affiliated company, Visu Industry Co., Ltd., to produce a wide range of new food products, including fermented red bean curd and dried tofu. In the field of Soy Sauce production, Yan Wal Yun is the first company in the Thai Kingdom to receive as many as 5 awards within a 12 month period: ISO 9002 Quality Management Certification from BVQI, France Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certificate from SGS Thailand's Brand Award from the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Export Promotion Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate from FDA of the Ministry of Public Health Good Performance Exporter award from the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Industry.
