The total investment and registered capital is US$67, 000, 000, Alcoa shares 56%, and the Chinese partners share 44%.The available specifications and capacity for YXAFâs manufacture include light gauge aluminum foil (thickness: 0.00450.009mm) 15000 tons/year, foil stock for light gauge 8000 tons/year, others 2000 tons/yearï¼with total 25000 tons/year. The project is assessed by China Nonferrous Industrial Association, formed verified opinions as follow: The project took a lead of adopting self-made casting stock for batch production of 0.0045 aluminum foil in world wide, broke through the traditional processing method of using hot casting rolls to make aluminum foil of thickness less than 0.005mm, all data reached the of technology standard of homogeneous product in the world. Steady techniques, short process, energy saving, low cost, friendly environment, related patents formed a set of independent intellectual property processing technology system. The product had filled in the gap of domestic market, substituted imported product and realized batch export. Production quality reached the leading processing method of making homogeneous product by hot casting roll in the world, a set of processing technology reached the leading level in the world. âThis is a project with advanced technology, reasonable process flow and ripe techniques; itâs in conformity with environmental protection, and EHS policy.
