Zibo Storage Battery Factory, affiliated to CSIC, was established in Jan, 1944. It is one of the earliest factories emphasized in lead-acid battery research and manufacture. The key equipment for manufacture and test were imported from USA, U.K., Germany, Italy, Japan and South Korea. There are 18 series and 200 types. They are widely used in the fields of national defense, scientific research, telecommunication, railway, electric power, mining, marine, automobile and motorcycle etc.
