Business Overview

Most suppliers offering shea butter and body care products come from Africa or Southeast Asia, where raw materials are locally sourced. calabash 56, based in the United States, offers a different advantage — access to advanced manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory compliance standards common in developed markets. The core products like liquid soap and essential oils are in high demand for cosmetics and personal care brands, especially in Europe and North America. However, the lack of verified work email, phone, documents, and account email raises concerns about legitimacy and responsiveness. Buyers should verify the company’s operations independently before placing large orders. Being in the U.S. helps with faster communication and compliance with international safety and labeling rules, but without verification, trust remains a risk. Since the company has been in business since 2005, it has had time to build experience, but that history alone doesn’t confirm reliability without proof of operations.
