Childhood Education International is an international development organization that works in partnership to co-create innovative solutions to education challenges and secure bright futures for children’s learning and wellbeing. Since 1892, we have been committed to ensuring that all children worldwide have access to quality education and learning opportunities.

With a global network of technical specialists, teachers, and other education leaders, we collaborate so that all children have access to holistic educational opportunities.

We believe in locally led development and community-led change, and we strive to build a world where all children have access to education and learning opportunities.

Children’s access to a quality education has the power to end poverty, improve child health and wellbeing, build peaceful and prosperous societies, grow economies, and combat climate change. Through our work, we are building bright futures for all children.

Since 1892, Childhood Education International has been working to ensure bright futures for all children. As a member association for many years, we developed a widespread global network of child development and education experts. Today, as an international development organization, we maintain strong links worldwide.

We actively engage with a strong and experienced global network of experts, including a team of Country Leads and Regional Advisors, as well as United Nations Representatives. We are also active members of numerous international coalitions and networks, and we host the global Early Childhood Development Task Force (ECDtf).

Through our print and online education publications, we help you explore innovations in education delivery and policy, consider cutting-edge solutions to education challenges, immerse yourselves in the lives of children, and discover research from around the world on a variety of education topics.

We publish the bimonthly magazine Childhood Education: Innovations and the Journal of Research in Childhood Education. We offer some free, open-access articles to the public, and subscribers receive unlimited access to both publications online, in print, or both.

Working with our global network of teachers, other education leaders, and technical experts, we co-create resources that can be used and adapted. Resources are currently available in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Kiswahili, and Ukrainian.
