Company Overview
Brackley Holdings Ltd is the holding company for a variety of property-based companies that are successful in the renewables and development sectors. It has been formed out of a 150 year old family group and is still owned and managed by members of the original family, retaining their financial support and backing. The Group comprises a variety of allied businesses focused on delivering our Clients’ needs in the property development and energy sectors.
Energy Solutions
Through EvoEnergy we can assess and develop electrical solutions to reduce energy consumption and lower the carbon impact of any business. This work has expanded into the design and delivery of Smart Grids as well as Grid connected battery storage, EV charging and more traditional photovoltaic panel installations. We now provide solutions at the different project stages of Consult, Develop, Design, Construct, Monitor and Maintain to meet Client needs.
Property Development
Our property development activities cover a wide range, with bespoke specialisms developed over many years and numerous projects. Our experience includes Medical Centres, Care Homes, Extra Care and retirement accommodation, offices, logistic centres, and industrial units. Based in the Midlands, the group works nationally and is exploring its first international projects, continually considering the needs of clients in construction and development sectors.

Richard Wakeford
Richard has held various roles in the construction industry, from civil engineering infrastructure projects to building and renewable energy sectors. He emphasizes collaboration to deliver successful projects and is focused on sustainable construction and low-zero carbon solutions, supporting initiatives like Sustainability West Midlands.
Mark Wakeford
Mark is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers with over thirty years' experience, supporting construction businesses through leadership roles such as Chair of the Major Contractors Group and Vice-Chair of Constructing Excellence Midlands. He is passionate about renewables and reducing corporate carbon emissions, leveraging his expertise as Chairman of EvoEnergy and director within Brackley Holdings Ltd.
Ian Wakeford
Ian, former Royal Navy officer, specializes in delivering large-scale business transformation, especially in managing mergers and acquisitions. Currently Head of the Integration Portfolio at London Stock Exchange Group, he has led major integrations globally and applies his investment knowledge as a non-executive director for Brackley Holdings Ltd.
Dinah Downes
Dinah joined Brackley Holdings Ltd in August 2022 as P.A. to the Directors. With 30 years of experience working globally, she is excited to support and assist with any queries regarding the company's activities.
