Delan Wimalasiri

Tea exporters from Sri Lanka often face buyer concerns about authenticity and contact verification, especially when dealing with small to mid-sized suppliers. Delan Wimalasiri, based in Sri Lanka, offers black tea, green tea, and regular tea — products that are in high demand across Asia and Europe. However, the lack of verification on work email, phone number, and business documents raises red flags for buyers looking to ensure legitimacy. Without a verified account email or documents, it's harder to confirm the company's real identity or track communication. Buyers should request additional proof, such as a company registration or a recent invoice, before placing any large orders. This is common in the tea trade where informal networks often replace formal verification. While the core products are well-known, the missing verification details can delay trust-building and increase risk of fraud.
