LEHNER is currently in the second generation and managed by Helmut Lehner who, thanks to his vision and numerous innovative ideas, has made LEHNER Maschinenbau GmbH what it is today in numerous fields – the market leader for 12-volt spreading technology in Europe. The trigger for developing a mechanical spreading solution in addition to our agricultural business was a regional slug calamity in 1989, which caused considerable damage to the regional agricultural sector. The result is well-known – a spreader operated using a 12-volt supply allowing slug pellets to be spread over a large area – the first SuperVario®. Over time, the range of 12-volt spreading equipment has constantly been extended. Today, LEHNER boasts a range of innovative products used in the fields of agriculture, viticulture, fruit-farming and winter road maintenance as well as special machinery used primarily in the road construction industry. We at LEHNER have always focussed on the development and strictly-monitored final assembly of our products, with all components produced in Germany in accordance with our specifications and meeting the most stringent quality requirements. Accordingly, only products with the "Made in Germany" label leave our plant. And that is only one of the reasons why LEHNER innovations are in such great demand worldwide, with spreading technology exports currently accounting for 37% – and rising.
